When I received them I did a “no slip” test that consisted of squat jacks, jogging in place, high knees, and repeat. It slipped some but not to the point I had to pull them off. They don’t seem very high rise to me but I think I have a long torso at 5’6” and ankle or 7/8 length or full lengths for me. In comparison, these pants sit at the same place as lululemon’s mid rise pants.
Went to OTF today. Started on the treadmill for about 15-20 min and later on in this hour workout included squat jacks and burpees. They did NOT hold at all while I was jogging and that is a major bummer for me since I’m working from going to power walker to jogger/runner. My options then were to walk or hold my pants (I held them). Afterwards, I had no major slip issues firing jump squats and burpees. So either these pants aren’t made for running or the “no slip” features needs to be activated by your blood, sweat, and tears. They do not feel like skin tight compression. They are comfortable, but there is bunching. I ordered a size down, L, and they wouldn’t even go past my hips so I didn’t think that was an option I also find that when I size down the seams on my inner thighs will rip sooner than I’d like. I ordered the XL and I’m a size 16(/18 thank you COVID-19...not).
These leggings are pretty good but not all I dreamed of. They roll down with some activities like warmups, anything twisting but they are "squat-proof" and I do feel that the compression is good and they stay up better than Gymshark leggings.
My gripe with these is that they are marketed as being skin-tight but I own these and a pair of regular length and at the ankles there is just too much fabric even in a size Medium. My ankles are not super skinny so if I am experiencing bunching, I can imagine someone skinnier having a lot of fabric flapping around.
All that to say, I liked them enough to buy a 2nd pair so I would recommend these but they are not perfect.
The legging itself is super comfortable but they still slipped down while working out. The waist rolled and slipped down during squats and other HITT class moves.
